Who are we?
If you love gardens, or are new to the area, or recently retired, or a long-term local just looking for ways to get involved in the community, Macquarie Towns Garden Club might just be what you’re looking for. Our Club is a group of like-minded people who enjoy hearing about anything and everything related to gardens.
What do we do?
Our general meeting at 2pm is all about our interesting guest speakers, or PowerPoint excursions through wonderful gardens, followed by a friendly afternoon tea and a chat. The sale table is also very popular. Our ‘green thumbs’ members regularly donate plants to sell at the meeting.
Our Committee (elected each year) handles all the boring stuff, meeting beforehand to discuss ‘housekeeping’ and organise our calendar and events.
When do we meet?
Meetings are held on the 1st Thursday of each month, from February through to November, at 2pm in the Tebbutt Room at Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George St, Windsor.
